Daily Member Registration

The GlidingApp provides a daily registration system that helps both members and instructors prepare effectively for flying days.

Self-registration: Members can register themselves for flying days and highlight their preferences
Instructor preparation: Instructors gain an overview of all members flying on a given day
Recency monitoring: Pilots with recency issues are highlighted for instructors.
Equipment planning: See which aircraft are available and can be taken from the hangar

This system enables both members and instructors to better prepare for upcoming flying days while ensuring all regulatory and safety requirements are met for each pilot.

Registration lists

For clubs with limited resources or popular time slots, registration lists allow users to pre-register for specific activities. The system manages capacity limits and automatically handles waitlists.

Capacity management: Set maximum spots per list (e.g., 4 students in the morning, 4 in the afternoon)
Dynamic maximum: Set maximum spots per list either fixed, or make them dependent on available instructors
Automatic waitlist: When lists are full, users join a waitlist and (if enabled) get automatically promoted when spots open
Fair distribution: Prevent one person from claiming all slots by maximizing the amount of registrations (per cluster)

Students can register themselves for available slots, enabling them to fly more frequently on less days. More motivated students and faster training progress while ensuring fair access and minimizing manual coordination.
